What to check on this cup
- 1Strawberry straw topper
A red strawberry with a green leafy top and small white seeds sits on the end of a pink straw.
- 2Pink straw
The straw is pale pink and passes through the top of the hat.
- 3Cap-style hat
The lid is shaped like a cream baseball cap with a pink brim. STARBUCKS is printed across the front in red.
- 4Hat lettering
The red STARBUCKS lettering with a registered mark runs across the cap's front panel.
- 5Printed face
Two black eyes and a black nose are printed on the clear glass head, under the pink brim.
- 6Hat from the side Side view
In profile the cap's brim sticks out over the bear's face and the lettering curves around the front of the crown.
- 7Plain back of the cap Back view
From behind the cap is a plain cream dome with no print.
Our photos do not show the underside of the base, the inside of the cap or any base markings. The paper slip and straw wrapper inside the cup are packaging.

Collector notes
- Starbucks' page gives the release dates and the two-per-customer limit but no price or size, so the card leaves both as Not confirmed. One news outlet reported $32.95, which we have not confirmed with Starbucks.
- Bear cups with strawberry toppers sold as Starbucks, shipped from abroad, are common. Compare the cap shape, the red STARBUCKS lettering and the pink straw with the photos here.
- The original green-hat Bearista has a ribbed beanie lid with a small label instead of a cap, so the two are easy to tell apart.
