What's on the mug
- 1Lettering
WYOMING in red capitals over a dark green circle.
- 2Geyser plume
A pale, billowing plume rises behind the lettering from a small round base. It looks like a geyser erupting, though the mug doesn't label it.
- 3Dinosaur skeleton
A red dinosaur skeleton with a long tail and a small skull stands across the lower left of the circle.
- 4Red wildflowers
Tall stems topped with red, feathery blooms rise at the left, with long grey-green leaves along the stalk.
- 5Purple barn
A purple barn with a red-edged roof sits at the left edge, with a pale-green slope in front of it.
- 6Cowboy hat and rope
A black cowboy hat with a red top and a teal band sits at the upper right, above a coil of teal rope.
- 7Fisherman and rock
A figure in teal holds a fishing rod whose line arcs across above the lettering. A red and teal rock stands beside the figure.
- 8Boardwalk crowd
A row of dark silhouettes stands along a rail beside a strip of blue water at the bottom of the front.
- 9Elk Side view
A blue elk with branching, red-based antlers walks across the left of this side, its head turned to the right.
- 10Mountain bike Side view
A red mountain bike with blue-and-white spoked wheels stands below the elk, with small black dots spraying from the rear tyre.
- 11Red fox Side view
An orange-red fox with white markings stands on a hill topped with blue clouds, facing the viewer, above dark mountains and a purple barn.
- 12Bird Back view
A bird with a red-orange breast and a speckled brown back perches on the top of the building's dome, above the burger.
- 13Hamburger Back view
A hamburger with a red-topped sesame bun, a dark patty and green layers sits to the left of the domed building.
- 14Domed building Back view
A long pale building with a central dome, rows of windows and small trees along the front. Two small red figures stand below it. It looks like a capitol building, though the mug doesn't label it.
The three photos cover most of the outside of the mug. The strip behind the handle and the bottom of the mug are not shown.
Collector notes
- The inside of this mug is dark green, which shows along the rim in the Back photo. The photos show it on a dark surface, and a white object in the Front photo's background is not part of the mug.
- The elk, bike and fox are on the sides of the mug, and the bird, burger and domed building are by the handle, so a seller photo taken only from the front shows none of them.
- Wyoming is also in our Been There checklist. This page covers the Discovery mug, so check the series name in a listing's title before you buy.
